Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how AXIS Planner collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the purchase and use of the Software.
The short version: AXIS Planner stores all your in-app data (habits, moods, symptom logs, notes) locally on your own device — we never see it. The only information we hold about you personally is your email address and purchase record, which we need to deliver your licence and provide support.
Who We Are
AXIS Planner is operated by Alexandara (registered business name, ABN 39 145 301 224), based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to Alexandara. For any privacy-related enquiries, contact support@alexandara.com.au.
Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to process your purchase and deliver the Software:
- Email address — provided at checkout, used to deliver your licence key, download link, and future update notifications.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
- Licence activation record — a record that your unique licence key was issued and activated, used to verify licence validity, prevent fraud, and support customer enquiries. This record includes: activation timestamps (first and most recent), activation count, approximate country and state or territory derived from your IP address at time of activation, and device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop). We do not store IP addresses themselves, nor do we collect browser version, operating system version, or any device fingerprinting data.
- Purchase metadata — order date, amount paid, and transaction ID, retained for accounting and customer support purposes.
We use Google Analytics 4 on our website (not in the Software itself) to understand general traffic patterns and measure advertising effectiveness. Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation enabled, does not identify individual visitors, and is used for aggregated reporting only. See the "Cookies and Tracking" section below for details and opt-out options.
The AXIS Planner Software itself does not collect any analytics, tracking data, usage data, or behavioural data of any kind. All app data you enter stays on your own device.
Your App Data Stays on Your Device
All data you enter into AXIS Planner — habits, symptom logs, journal entries, priorities, mood ratings, energy scores, brain dumps, and all other personal records — is stored exclusively in your web browser's local storage on your own device.
This data is:
- Never transmitted to any server operated by us or any third party;
- Never visible to us under any circumstances;
- Never included in any analytics, reporting, or data processing;
- Entirely under your control — you can export it, back it up, or delete it at any time from within the app.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:
- Delivering your licence key and Software download link by email;
- Sending you notifications when Software updates are released;
- Responding to customer support enquiries;
- Verifying licence validity in the event of a support request;
- Complying with legal obligations including tax record-keeping.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is described above.
GDPR lawful basis. Where you are a resident of the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the GDPR: (a) Performance of a contract — to deliver your licence key and the Software you purchased; (b) Legitimate interests — to respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and send occasional product update notifications; (c) Legal obligation — for tax record-keeping and responding to lawful government requests; (d) Consent — for non-essential analytics cookies (you may opt out at any time, see "Cookies and Tracking" below).
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share limited personal information only with the following trusted service providers ("sub-processors") who help us operate the Software and fulfil your purchase:
- Stripe, Inc. (USA) — payment processing. Stripe receives and processes your payment details and email address. We never see your card details. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Resend (USA) — transactional email delivery. Resend receives your email address to deliver your licence key and download link. Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase, Inc. (hosted in AWS, region configurable) — database hosting. Stores your email address, licence key, and purchase metadata for validation and support. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel, Inc. (USA) — website and API hosting. Vercel may log IP addresses and request metadata for a short period for security and performance purposes. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 (USA) — aggregated traffic analytics on our public website only (not in the Software). IP anonymisation is enabled. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Etsy, Inc. (USA) — if you purchase via our Etsy store, Etsy processes your payment and order under its own privacy policy. We then receive your email address from Etsy to deliver your licence. Subject to Etsy's Privacy Policy.
- Legal compliance — if required by applicable law, court order, or government request, we may disclose information as legally required.
All sub-processors listed above are bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Most are based in the United States, which means your personal information may be transferred outside Australia and the EU. By using AXIS Planner, you consent to this transfer. We only share the minimum information necessary for each sub-processor to perform its function.
Data Retention
We retain your email address and purchase record for as long as your licence is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for accounting and dispute resolution purposes (typically 7 years in accordance with Australian tax law).
You may request deletion of your purchase record at any time by contacting support@alexandara.com.au. Please note that deletion of your purchase record will invalidate your licence key. Where a licence has been revoked (for example, following a confirmed policy breach), we retain the revocation record alongside the purchase record for the same retention period described above. Revoked licences cannot be activated on new devices; existing activations on that licence are not affected by revocation.
Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements);
- Opt out of update notification emails at any time by contacting us.

Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold. Purchase transactions are processed over encrypted HTTPS connections via Stripe. We do not store payment card data.
Your in-app data (habit logs, symptom records, journal entries, etc.) is stored on your device and protected by your device's own security. We recommend enabling device passcode or biometric authentication for additional protection.
Cookies and Tracking
Our public website (axis.alexandara.com.au) uses Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled to understand aggregated traffic patterns. GA4 may set a small number of cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors. We do not use Facebook Pixel, advertising retargeting, or third-party behavioural tracking.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using your browser's Do Not Track / private browsing mode, or by blocking cookies for our site. Opting out of analytics does not affect your ability to purchase or use the Software.
The Software itself (AXIS Planner) does not use cookies, analytics, or any form of network-based tracking. It operates entirely offline after the initial download, stores all data in your browser's local storage on your own device, and never transmits your in-app data to any server.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to existing customers by email where practicable.
